RAIN FAILS TO DAMPEN WINDIES
West Indies beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in their  rain  reduced
limited  overs  international in Colombo.  The 50 overs match was
restricted to 25 a side due to rain and the hosts reached   103-5
from  23  with  Aravinda de Silva posting a top score of 34.  The
tourists made heavy weather of the target requiring 35  from  the
last   five  overs  but  Keith Arthurton  (24no) and Phil Simmons
(15no) saw them home.
