SOUTHAMPTON: Hants v Australia 28 Jun 93
Robin  Smith  bagged  a  golden  duck at Southampton as Hampshire
wasted a chance to embarrass  Australia  three  days  before  the
Third  Cornhill  Test.   Set   290  to  win  the hosts were 167 0
through Paul  Terry  (82)  and  Tony  Middleton  (78)  but  in  a
startling collapse lost six wk- ts for nine runs.  Smith  fell to
Merv Hughes as David Gower and Adrian Aymes were  forced  to  bat
out for the draw at 220 6.
