Date-stamped : 14 Nov94 - 10:44 New Zealand v Northern Transvaal Centurion Park, Verwoerdburg, 11, 12, 13 November 1994 New Zealand`s first first-class match in South Africa in 32 years fizzled out to a draw. Much of the game was interrupted by rain. For the Kiwis Darrin Murray (72) and Stephen Fleming (114) im- pressed witrh the bat. Northern`s can be well-pleased with the performances of Mike Rindel (91) enabling a recovery from 3/21, and off spinner Mark Davis who returned bowling figures of 4/53. Fleming`s hundred came with a six off Rudi Byson. He finished with 114, including 15 fours and three sixes.
