South African Squad v India

The SA Selection panel has announced a squad for the first two Tests
against India starting on December 26th (Durban) and January 2nd (Cape
Town) respectively.
Of the players that toured India, Derek Crookes, Nicky Boje, Jonty
Rhodes, John Commins, Pat Symcox and Fanie de Villiers have been
omitted.
Jacques Kallis and Shaun Pollock return, and the uncapped Transvaal
opening bat Adam Bacher, nephew of UCB managing director and former SA
captain Ali Bacher, has been included.
Gary Kirsten retains the vice-captaincy.
