Date-stamped : 01 Dec97 - 18:31 West Indies 'A' In SA CAPE TOWN Report from The Nation Fast bowler Ottis Gibson captured four wickets to bowl the West Indies "A" to a 91-run first innings lead over Western Province on the second day of their four-day tour match in Newlands yesterday. Replying to the West Indies' first innings score of 290, Western Province were dismissed for 199 with Paul Kirsten making the topscore of 63 and Gibson taking four for 36 off 16 overs. At the close, the West Indies "A" team struggled to 59 for four for an overall lead of 150 runs with opener Leon Garrick hitting 35 off 73 balls before he was unfortunately run out. The "A" team lost an early wicket when Robert Samuels went for one with the score on five. Garrick and Floyd Reifer then added 30 for the second wicket before Reifer was out cheaply for the second time in the match, falling for four. Fast bowler Brett Schultz captured both wickets to end the day with two for 15 off nine overs.
