Date-stamped : 05 May97 - 06:16 GRAHAM LLOYD`S productive start to the season continued when his brisk innings of 81 helped Lancashire avenge last week`s Benson and Hedges Cup defeat by Derbyshire. Lloyd and Neil Fairbrother plundered 128 from 18 overs to take Lancashire to 262 for seven at Derby. After a short stoppage for rain, which reduced Derbyshire`s target to 252 from 38 overs, captain Dean Jones was bowled by Richard Green for 58 to put Lancashire in command. Karl Krikken made 36 but Wasim Akram cut through the lower order as Derbyshire ended on 217 for nine to lose by 35 runs.
