Date-stamped : 26 May97 - 06:15 Warwickshire v Middlesex Warwickshire (222) beat Middx (114) by 108 runs DOMINIC OSTLER and Trevor Penney took Middlesex apart with a stand of 102 in 14 overs as Warwickshire achieved their third consecutive home win, by 108 runs, writes Mike Beddow. Ostler, restricted to 174 runs in 12 competitive innings this season, surpassed his previous highest score in boundaries alone - eight fours and two sixes - and remained unbeaten on 68 when Warwickshire closed at 222 for five. Ostler`s upturn coincided with a backward step for Angus Fraser. After conceding only 82 runs in three games, he was hit for three sixes in a return of nought for 60. Middlesex`s reply, except for Keith Brown`s 44 not out, was equally distressing. Mike Gatting was superbly run out by Dougie Brown`s throw and Gladstone Small hastened their dismissal for 114 with a league-best five for 26.
