Sussex,   outplayed   by   Worcestershire  in the championship at
Arundel, were never in with a chance of gaining Sunday   revenge,
stut- tering to 158 in reply to 207 for three.

David   Leatherdale   was   the  dominant  partner in an unbroken
stand of 111 in 15 overs with Reuben Spiring, and then took three
wickets,  including  those  of  Peter Moores and Alex Edwards, in
succes- sive deliveries.
