NORTHANTS   finished   their  Sunday  League  campaign with their
third win in eight days, beating Leicestershire by  five  wickets
with  10 balls to spare, writes Geoffrey Dean.

Kevin   Curran,   with  78 off 97 balls, and Richard Montgomerie,
with 69 off 89, effectively won the  game  with  a  second-wicket
stand  of  140  in 28  overs.  Tony  Penberthy`s  return of three
for 32 and off- spinner Jason Brown`s four for 26 on  his  Sunday
debut restricted Leicestershire.
