Jason Gillespie is easily the fastest bowler playing for Australia today. Gillespie steams in from a long run up and lets the ball rip. When he charges up to the bowling crease with a glint in his eye he does not hold anything back. Gillespie is especially lethal in the long version of the game. Gillespie is an attacking bowler and was once considered a Test match bowler. Off late the Australian selection panel has come around and is playing him in One-Day Internationals as well. Gillespie has had success in both forms of the game, his 7 wicket haul against England being a case in point.
