England Winter Tour Squads (Mon 28 Aug 2000)
England today announced their Test and One-Day squads for this winter's tour of
Kenya (ICC Trophy), Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The Surrey leg-spinner Ian Salisbury
has been recalled to the Test squad after a two-year absence to fulfill spin-bowling
duties alongside Warwickshire's Ashley Giles.

England Squad for 5th Cornhill Test v West Indies (Sun 27 Aug 2000)
England today named a squad of 12 players for next week's 5th Cornhill Test Match
against West Indies at The Foster's Oval. (August 31-Sept 4) The Warwickshire left-arm
spinner Ashley Giles, who has taken 52 wickets and scored two hundreds in First Class
cricket this summer, is added to the eleven who won the 4th Test at Headingley.

England Under 19's beat Ireland's Senior team 2-1 (Wed 9 Aug 2000)
The England Women's Under-19 team beat Ireland's Senior Women's team this week in a series of one-day
matches, as players prepare for the World Cup later this year. Ireland, who beat Pakistan in Dublin
last week, will play England's Senior team at the World Cup.
