Earlier in the day after a slow and steady start by the openers
Clarke (55* of 40 balls) and Bevan (21 of 22) saw to it that
Australia finish off with 286 runs from their 50 overs
Once again Clarke playing a gem of an innings and staying not out

till the end
Once 286 was put up it was always going to be hard for the West
Indians
and as usual they crumbled under pressure
Apart from the innings of Gayle (84) and Lara (40) there is nothing
much to speak
Australians took wickets at regular intervals and West Indies was
never in the game

Towards the end Samuels (27 of 20 balls) played some healthy shots

but it was too little too late
Gillespie and Harvey took two wickets each and Mcgrath, symonds and
