England won by 4 wickets
Anderson finished off with four wickets after an expensive start,
Johnson got two and Gough, Flintoff and McGrath got one each
Pollock and Ntini started off in style and within no time England
were reduced to 3 for 30
they were in a spot of bother when Flintoff and Vaughan came
together, but they took the attack to the opposition
Flintoff especially went on the rampage and raced away to 54 from
just 40 balls, he hit seven fours and one six
and when he was out they had put together a 100 run partnership for
the fourth wicket and England were back on track
Vaughan (83) went on to reach his highest ODI score and a brisk
innings from Rikki Clarke (37 of 34) took the match away from the
South Africans
A total of 31 fours and 2 sixes were scored by the English batsman
and they won by 4 wickets, with 11 overs to spare
Man of the Match: Andrew Flintoff
