In this match we saw a good recovery when Pakistan batted after
being 106 for 5 with Younis Khan, Rashid Latif and the a brilliant
innings by Razzaq to get their side to 278
Zimbabwe lost wicket all along and Marillier was in form with a 59
and things did look tight when Blignaut and Ervine were out there.
The young team fielded well for Pakistan and the younger legs
showed out well, Hafeez, Umar Gul and Kaneria were in fine fettle
with Sami being the attack bowler as well as Kaneria who did pose
problems with his googly
The key was the biggish total Pak got on this slow track and we
will be here tomorrow for the Pak v Sri Lanka game starting at
11:00GMT, lets see if we can bring the ceremonies to you now
Ceremonies and heat Streak says we gave away too many extras

We need to be able to defend better'
Thinks he may promote himself in the order
Most fours award to Marillier
Most score, highest score to Razzaq

The Man of the Match award to after decidine between Khan,
Marillier, goes to Abdul Razzaq
Razzaq thanks God and the young team, says in the world cup he was
mentally upset and will do better, says he got some reverse swing
in the last overs
Latif is happy that first match was good, mentions Gul and other
players and says his task is to get the best out of the team,
again mentions Gul who got 2 key wicket early on and Hafeez and
thanks Younis and Razzaq for their innings
Thats all tonight and we hope to see you here tomorrow at 11:00GMT
