        Last Wicket: 219 / 9 - M Dillon 4 (7)

  • Sri Lanka won by 6 runs
Things all started to go pear shaped when Sarwan was hit and had to
go off to hospital to be checked out
Up until then West Indies had looked in control even though they
had lost a few early wickets
Jayasuriya did well using his bowlers to perfection with Vaas being
the pick and likely to be named MoM in IMO
Sri Lanka did well under some pressure after the poor performance
            in Nairobi
Vaas indeed named for his wonderful spell and has been the arrow in
            the quiver that Sanath carries
Sri Lanka now basically through no matter what but there is still
            lots to play for
Be sure to be here as we continue to bring coverage of the World
Cup with Bangladesh vs Kenya and the India vs Pakistan game which
is sure to be a great one tomorrow

    End of over 50 (7 runs) West Indies 222/9 (RR: 4.44 RRR: 7/0 = 0.00)
PW Gunaratne 6-1-41-0 (4w) - Kelvin Grove End
    RR Sarwan 47* (44b 4x4 2x6) PT Collins 1* (1b)

49.6 Gunaratne to Sarwan, one run, smears it down to deep bwd square and
            end just 7 runs short
49.5 Gunaratne to Collins, one run, thick outside edge to Fernando at
3rd man again, was finer but once again he is easily able to get
            there
